What makes Gunz Online game more interesting?

GunZ is an online game that was produced out the idea of enabling you to realize such a dream!

GunZ is not simply a simulation game of a gun fight. It allows you to imitate a famous hero, create your own fashion, and perform a number of different actions such as shooting or stabbing while running or jumping on the walls.

What makes Gunz Online Bounty more interesting than other games is the fact that the game is available on-line allowing easy access to its exciting elements! AND this game is FREE for playing.

Gunz Online Bounty was a dark and brutal time when blood flowed as freely as wine and chronic clothing shortages gave rise to a distinctly minimalist fashion sense. This epic fantasy setting was created by Robert E. Howard in the 1930s, with the Barbarian at the center of it all.

Howard's vivid stories have spawned numerous adaptations since then, from the popular comics of the 1970s to the Arnold Schwarzenegger films of the 1980s. And with last week's PC launch (the Xbox 360 version is scheduled for this fall) of the massively multiplayer online role-playing game Gunz Online Bounty: Hyborian Adventures, there's yet one more way to experience this treacherous era.

Clearly a world this deep requires an equally grand score, so we flew out to developer Funcom's Oslo, Norway headquarters to find out what players can expect on that front. While a savage Viking battle raged on the slope of a mountain overlooking the city during the game's launch party, we talked with composer Knut Avenstroup Haugen about his massive three-and-a-half year project and got the first news of an upcoming soundtrack CD release.

An Unlikely Hero's Destiny

Haugen is tall, soft-spoken, and articulate. He's a classically trained pianist, having studied in conservatories in Norway and the Netherlands before turning more fully to composition. He has composed concert music, participated in opera festivals, and even written song cycles based on poems by Norwegian national poets.
