Dream of Mirror Online News & Events & Guides
I initially came across Aeria Games & Entertainment a few months ago, when introduced to domo gold. Free internet games, particularly massive multiplayer online role-playing games (MMORPGS), always intrigue me. Although I had personally not been impressed by the game system presented in LastChaos, I was willing to give the gaming company another try after receiving an email invitation to Dream of Mirror Online Closed Beta. The opening email promised a "robust crafting system," along with social interactions and a unique pet system.
Dream of Mirror Online (domo gold) places the player into the Mirror World, a place where they have been called to help assist the Mirror Kings in solving recent disruptions. These real-world players are given the ability to adopt the form of one of four races when they enter the Mirror World, a trait similar to other series in which real-world people try to solve alternate or online world dilemmas. Based on the Asian myth of the Kunlun Mirror, the story presents itself as an interactive fantasy role-playing game for all ages.
Disappointingly, the download for the domo gold Beta was a zip file about a gigabyte in size - no short matter, even for internet users with high-speed connections. After the client was eventually downloaded, the file unzipped and subsequently installed with ease, only taking about 5 minutes to fully install. Only a short 3 minute patch awaited me once I initially connected to domo gold's servers. As an Aeria Games member already, I only had to sign into my account to activate the Beta, and so was quickly logged in. After a few initial questions as to what I expected from the game and how I had heard about it, I was on the main login page, awaiting character creation.
