The PC's RO Zeny 2 remains stuck in limbo, having been in beta since 2007, but the series continues to chug along. XSEED Games announced today that the DS edition of the Korean MMO is on its way to America. 

"We could not be more pleased to be involved in bringing such a well-known and beloved series on the PC to a handheld platform," said XSEED president Jun Iwasaki. " RO Zeny DS stays true to the original while adding elements to optimize the experience on the Nintendo DS."

Naturally, it won't be quite as massive as the PC game, but the core level mechanics remain intact.

In lieu of a more traditional MMO experience, parties of three will be able to join over the DS' wi-fi connection and explore the Tower of Mirages, which features more than 50 floors as well as randomly generated maps.

Look for  RO Zeny DS this winter.
