The Taiwan-based Funmily announced today that they have acquired the license to publish Iris Online, a brand-new Gypsy-themed and anime-style MMORPG developed by the Korea-based EYAsoft, in Taiwan, Hong Kong, Macau, Singapore and Malaysia in view of the prosperous online game market in these areas. Iris Online is scheduled to launch this fall.

Iris Online is a fantasy MMORPG with exquisite graphics and fantastic fairy tale background. In the game, players can select from Human, Elf and Orc. It features a Tarot Card System. The tarot cards in game do not work in the same way as in real life. Players can use tarot cards to advance their character, and endow their weapon/ armor with special abilities. In addition, they can transform into monster through using the tarot card dropped by that monster and use that monster's skills within (Iris Online Gold)a certain period of time. The game also features a diversified pvp system and real-time dungeons with unique themes.
