This doesn’t sound like a big deal, but it is. Blizzard is effectively turning the Diablo 3 RMAH into the ITunes App store. Nothing will be much lower than 99 cents per auction.

Will you be able to make money with this setup? Absolutely, but it’s going to be a psychological battle to get people to pay 99 cents for your items. I could probably get someone to buy item X 30 times for 10 cents each in one day, but getting that same person to buy 3 99 cent auctions might prove extremely difficult. Things just seem easier to sell when they are cheaper.

What do you think about the prices? Will it still be possible to make $25 per hour playing Diablo 3?

I think so. In my opinion, every single one of the 51 tips I came up with for Diablo 3 Gold are still valid. This just forces auctioneers to sell in higher quantities in order to justify the prices. If I can farm up 1000 of material X in an hour and sell stacks of 100 for 99 cents then I made just under $10.00 in an hour. If I can purchase those 1000 for half price on Saturday and resell on Friday for the same amount, then maybe I made $10 in about 20 minutes.
